Outreach & School Programs

We conduct free outreach workshops and classes with local groups and public schools across Lilongwe to engage with the broader community and expand opportunities to access dance education. In 2019, we conducted outreach classes in government public schools and at Dzaleka Refugee Camp. These classes support students educational, life-skills, and creative development, and offer greater access to opportunity for low-income Malawian students. We had to paused this program due to school closures during the pandemic, but look forward to resuming it in the near future.

In addition to free outreach programs, in 2021, we began collaborations with several private schools around Lilongwe to teach weekly dance classes to enrolled students.
